Visually pleasing spaces are half the battle when designing a successful architecture project. This little ‘Chameleon Cabin‘ is a great display of keeping visual interest even when putting together a project that’s a simple, small, cabin footprint. The space, designed by White Arkitekter, showcases a unique sense of perception based on angles.
While the facade may look like lustrous marble, it is actually crafted from corrugated paper for company Box & Display. The unique accordion design creates a chameleon effect in every sense of the word. From the material used, to the color display– this entire work is viewed differently from whatever area you are standing. All black, all white, or a combination of the two can be seen in a matter of seconds; while a bright yellow adds some bold contrast to the interior glimpses.
